Celebrate Mother Earth 2020 ECEEN Conference

2020 NSW ECEEN - Celebrate Mother Earth - Conference Information

About the conference

The 2020 NSW ECEEN conference falls the eve of Mother’s Day.

An opportunity to take action to heal Mother Earth...

  • Consider we are all part of Mother Earth, an indivisible, living community of interrelated and interdependent beings.
  • Gratefully acknowledge Mother Earth as sources of life, nourishment and learning and provides everything we need to live well.
  • Invite early childhood educators to take action within their communities to heal Mother Earth for future generations.

As David Suzuki reminds us - If our Planet is our mother, sustaining our need for water, air and soil, “then we will treat each one with greater respect. That is the challenge, to look at the world from a different perspective.”

In the spirit of being with Mother Earth some of the workshop sessions will be conducted outdoors so as the saying goes “no such thing as bad weather just inappropriate clothing”.
